In 1966 my friend, the poet Jack Hirschman gave me a Kabalistic manuscript by Avraham Abulafia to read and translate from Hebrew to English. While translating four more books since then the images in my work have been inspired by the permutations and possibilities of form and content; and I set to create the Aleph series in all media. |
