| Temple Aliyah Celebration Tapestry
This tapestry was produced in China on a very large loom, 20 feet by 8 feet, in wool. I collaborated with Carl Chew, my artist friend from Seattle, WA. The Jewish holidays are depicted with twenty-seven images; the menorah, the Torah scroll (in the writing I used A. Abulafia script from the 13th century) wine cup, matzoth, draidel, etc. We used a computer to create the multiple images. |
